Plainfield Twisters 2011-2012 Season begins... Round Robin at Four Seasons.

| Twisters start the new season with a Round Robin at Four Seasons. Teams included the 12U Plainfield Twisters Purple, 12U Plainfield Force, and the 12U Edge Choas. A special thanks to Jerseys Mikes for supplying lunch to all the girls and coaches. |

| Twisters end a very successfull 2011 campaign finishing with .726 Winning Percentage and trip to the NSA World Series in Indianapolis where they also posted a winning record. Looking forward to an even more successful season next year!!! |

Twisters place 3rd in the NSA Illinois State Championships held in Kankakee!!!

| The Twisters played 9 games over the weekend posting a 7-2 record and placed 3rd in the 2011 NSA Illinois State Championships. They were one of only 4 teams out of 14 to make it to Sundays bracket losing to eventual champion Team Oak Stars in a hard fought battle to finish 3rd. |

TWISTERS TAKE 1ST!!!
The Twisters Black placed first in The Romeoville Starzz Summer Classic the weekend of June 11th and 12th. |

The Twisters went 2-0-1 in pool play, then won 4 games on Sunday beating the New Lenox power 4-1 for the Championship. It was a great tournament, good competition, and an awesome tournament finish for the Twisters!

The Twisters finished in 2nd place in the annual St Charles Comet Classic which included 14 teams. The Twisters played 8 games over 3 days and posted a 5-3 record, losing twice to the Downers Grove Outlaws in bracket play. SECOND Place finish!! GREAT JOB GIRLS!!! Keep up the hard work!

TWISTERS Awarded share of 1st Place in Rain shortened Waukegan Spring Fling!!!

| The Twisters we were awarded a share of 1st Place after the rains came on Saturday night making the fields unplayable for Sunday. On Saturday the Twisters played through low 40 degree temperatures and rainy, very wet conditions to go 4-0 outscoring their opponents 46-5 in 2 pool play games and 2 bracket games. They were one of the 2 teams remaining in the Winners bracket. Way to play through the conditions, too bad we couldnt finish the tourney... |

After enduring a long rain delay and 20+ hours at the field the 10U Twisters Black went 5-1 in Kankankee's "The Howling" Tournament held on October 23rd and 24th. The team finished the Fall of 2010 with a 9-1 overall record and an NSA nationals bid.
